2. Our Game & Mission
Jelly Ball was created with a straightforward goal: to deliver lighthearted, instant-play gaming that combines soft-body cartoon physics, multiplayer camaraderie, and creative level design directly in the browser—with no downloads, launchers, or predatory mechanics.
Whether you want to roll around a living cartoon metropolis with friends, design your own obstacle gauntlets, or race against community ghost replays, Jelly Ball is built for pure, wholesome fun.
3. Core Features
A. 3D Cartoon City & Multiplayer Rooms
In Jelly City 3D, players roll their custom squishy jelly ball through vibrant city streets, knocking over props, bouncing across rooftops, and absorbing smaller objects to grow larger. Jump into public rooms or host private rooms with custom room codes to explore and play alongside friends.
B. 2D Skyline Racing & Time Trials
Experience precise momentum-based 2D rolling action across stylized skylines. Collect stars, dodge hazards, bounce off bumpers, and beat target times to claim your place on global leaderboards.
C. Level Creator & Community Sharing
Unleash your creativity with our in-browser level creator. Place bouncy platforms, spinning hazards, speed boosts, checkpoints, and custom finish rules. Publish your tracks for other players to race against and master.
D. Ghost Replays & Fair Play
Every race run is captured as a deterministic sequence of control inputs rather than video, enabling instant ghost replays so you can race against your own best times or learn from the fastest players in the world. Our server verifies all runs to maintain leaderboard fairness.
4. Family Protection & Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Jelly Ball is designed for players of all ages, and we take player safety and privacy seriously:
- Guest Play: Anyone can jump in and play matches or explore without creating an account or providing any personal information.
- COPPA Compliance: For children under 13 who wish to create an account, we require verifiable parental permission before their account can be activated. Parents maintain full control to review or delete their child’s data at any time.
- Minors’ Protections: Players under 18 receive automatic privacy protections: they are shielded from public direct messages, hidden from user search, and appear as generic “Jelly player” on leaderboards without public usernames or photos.
- No Camera, Microphone, or Location Tracking: Jelly Ball never accesses your camera, microphone, or precise geolocation.
5. Advertising & AdSense Transparency
Jelly Ball is free to play and supported by non-intrusive advertisements provided by Google AdSense (including optional game break videos between rounds). We enforce strict advertising ethics:
- 100% Non-Personalized Ads: We instruct Google AdSense to serve non-personalized ads (
requestNonPersonalizedAds = 1) for every player across the entire site. Ads are never targeted based on behavioral tracking or browsing history. - No Behavioral Profiling: We never build advertising profiles or sell player information to third-party data brokers.
- Never During Active Play: Advertisements never interrupt active ball rolling, match gameplay, or level creation.
